Paper Birch Lodge (formerly Juniper Lodge) is situated in central New Brunswick, on the headwaters of the Miramichi River, surrounded by thousands of acres of forest land. We are on the northern end of the Appalachian Mountain range. This gives us rolling land and ridges to view hardwood stands, softwood stands, cutovers, and farmland. This also accounts for the many valleys and streams that make food and cover for our fish and wildlife.

During the past years we have enjoyed meeting a number of guests from many states and countries. This has been possible by giving the best service we can and by not overbooking. Word of mouth is still our best form of advertising! We have had the pleasure of seeing some of our guests take a trophy, one of which (as noted) presently holds the N.B.#1 Pope and Young whitetail record.
